This chart represents live trade volume data from across the Steam network and annotates it with major events. (Note that many of the spikes are summer/winter Steam sales during which a lot of card trading happens):
- 2015.12.09 - Steam Mobile Authenticator is now required or trade goes into escrow
- 2016.07.13 - Valve begins cracking down on gambling sites
- 2018.03.30 - 7 day cooldown on all CS:GO trades
- 2018.06.21 - Valve trade bans all Opskins.com bots
- 2018.12.06 - CS:GO goes Free To Play
- 2019.10.28 - Valve makes CSGO Keys untradable
